Time to reflect on the mysterious magical mayhem that was FARR FESTIVAL 2014, courtesy of BC films and brought to you by Front To Back; featuring Mount Kimbie, Hercules & Love Affair, Gentleman’s Dub Club, D Bridge, Optimo, Skeptikal, MC Fokus, The Skints, Andrew Weatherall, Ame, Waze & Odyssey, Detroit Swindle, Optimo, Daniel Avery, Rosie Lowe, Hunee, Bicep, George Fitzgerald, Midland, Gaps, Woman’s Hour, South London Ordnance and so many more!
Once again, a HUGE thank you to each and every person who came, camped, braved the storms and got lost with us! Without you, we are just a ‘gap in the trees’…
Until next time…

I did it!
Selkie has been out forward by the University of Hertfordshire to the RTS Student Awards 2014!
Another achievement for us which is fantastic.
Lots of exciting news and meetings coming up which I will tell soon…
Really chuffed to say that myself and the crew’s final year film, Selkie, won The Kubrick Prize for Fiction yesterday at the Visions Festival. This award is given out on behalf of the Kubrick Estate and picked by Stanley Kubricks long time producer Jan Harlen. With Kubrick being my favourite director of all time, I couldn’t be more honoured to receive this award! Soooo sooo happy!
'Selkie' is being screened at the visions festival in Hertfordshire!
It will be shown in front of representatives from the BBC, ITV, Warners Brothers and the Stanley Kubrick estate, to name but a few!
I’m absolutely overjoyed that a film I directed is being seen by so many people!
We will continue to enter our film into multiple festivals over the next coming year.

Finally handed my Dissertation in on Monday about Transmedia and how it’s changed the Classic Hollywood Narrative Structure.
Blood, Swear and tears went in to this and now I can finally focus on my others projects.
Back to the editing room to finish a number of outstanding projects that will be making their way online soon!
I’ve also managed to sort myself out with work experience!
I’ll also being working a placement at VFX Company Glassworks straight after (If all goes to plan).
I’ve been confirmed to be filming Farr Festival again this year, with Ben Crocker and Ben Freeden, which is going to be fun, as always.
I PROMISE I’ll be updating this page more now. I have just over a month of uni left to go and then a whole summer of working and hopefully finding myself a job in the industry!
Sorry for not updating sooner. It’s been a very busy period! I’m in my final year at university now and have been very busy with my Dissertation and final year film.
WE ARE SHOOTING SELKIE ON SATURDAY.
The run up to it has been insane. It’s crazy to think that something I thought would be nice to make well over a year ago now has finally evolved into a project that we’ve raised over £2000 for.
I couldn’t be happier with our cast and I’m so excited to finally film the project, it’s been a long time coming.
Expect updates soon during the filming week and also other updates I need to post on here.
All the best,
Visiting Norfolk was inspiring for our Final Year Film!
